The gun has a nickel finish with a brass barrel that has 90% of the nickel remaining .The frame is a very heavy metal frame that has 75% of the nickel remaining . The brass barrel is bright and shiny with no grey or damage . The gun is in excellent mechanical working order ,the barrel is slid forward for loading , the frame has a spring inside for the action.The back of the frame is marked " POPE BROS . U.S. A. National derringer in 41 caliber , serial number 1041. This gun has a 2 1/4 inch barrel that is marked on top as follows :" NATIONAL ARMS BROOKLYN N.Y. and is marked on the bottom of the barrel : " PAT. FEB.24 1863 " , along with the serial number .The barrel is mostly shiny with traces of blue in the protected areas .The brass frame is silver plated and retains 85% of that finish with a few spots where the brass is showing through . The barrel and frame are nicely engraved with scroll engraving . This little gun has a 2 1/2 inch 4 barrel cluster that has 75 % of the blue that is turning grey with some brown mixed in , and some very minor roughness . The frame has 85% % of the bright blue with no damage and minor roughness on the back strap . The birds head walnut grips are very good with no cracks or damage and 85% of the original finish . The gun is in very good mechanical working order . The barrel has 45 % of the blue , Grey color with some shiny areas . The cane handle is wood with a metal back strap on the top and bottom of the wood cane handle . The handle appears to be of rosewood and shows a place where the wood is worn. The gun is in very good mechanical working order . Large percussion under hammer pistol with no name in 40 caliber , probably manufactured in western Pennsylvania . This gun has a 1 3/16 inch heavy barrel that is 13 1/2 inches long with the total length of the gun being 20 1/2 inches long . The barrel has a silver blade type From sight with a fancy rear sight screwed to the top of the barrel. The barrel has 4 1/8 inch wide silver bands with one being at the muzzle and 3 on either side of the hammer and one band that appears to be gold. The wood stock has a tight crack on the top near the tang screw . The butt of the stock has a German silver butt plate and a silver heart on top of the stock . The under hammer is in the shape of a dogs head and has a brass plate that surrounds the nipple and a round trigger guard that is the main spring that operates the hammer . The barrel has 75% of the blue with a few scratches and small dings and a few small bare spots . The gun is in excellent mechanical working order . # 4773 . 28.00 S&H via USPS . 3 Day Inspection. The barrel and cylinder have 80% of the original bright blue mixed with some brown spots and no pitting or damage . the frame is mostly a silver shiny color with very light traces of case color in the protected areas and is engraved in large scrolls . The 2 piece walnut grips are not cracked or broken with 80% of the original finish , but does have a few small dings and scratches . The gun is in very good mechanical working order. The bores has excellent strong crisp rifling and is 90% bright and shiny with 10% minor Grey spots . Merwin & Hulbert pocket model revolver in 32 caliber center fire revolver, serial number 1756 . This gun has 3 inch round ribbed barrel that is marked on top " MERWIN & HILBERT & CO. NEW YORK U.S.A. " and a second line of patent dates . The right side of the frame is marked " 32 CAL. ". The gun has a nickel finish with 98% of that finish remaining .The trigger , trigger guard and hammer are case colored and have 75% of that finish remaining . The hard rubber grips have the checker board pattern at the top with the bottom being checkered and are not cracked or broken and show very little wear . The hammer has the folding hammer spur that all pocket models have. The gun is in working order , but out of time and needs some tinkering .
