Winchester Model 1873 in 44/40 caliber ,serial number 79854 . This gun has a 24 inch octagon barrel that is marked on top : " WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS NEW HAVEN CT . / KINGS IMPROVEMENT - PATENTED - MARCH 29 1855 OCTOBER 16 1960 ." This gun has 75% of the blue , with some brown ,some shiny spots and some areas where the blue has thinned . The gun is 95% pit free . The wood stock is very good with minor scratches and dings and 90% of the finish and may have a old refinish . The dust cover does not have a thumb print and is off of a later model 73 . The gun is in excellent mechanical working order with some normal wear . The bore has very good strong rifling and is mostly shiny with some spots of minor Grey . # 4927. Colt 1878 in 44-40 caliber , New Frontier ,serial number 27634. This gun has a old renickel finish that was done long ago and has 95% of that finish remaining . The Barrel is 7 1/2 inches long and has excellent markings on top that read " COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD CT U.S.A." . The marking on the left side of the barrel that says " NEW FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER " is weak and barely readable . The 2 piece grips are not broken or cracked and have 80% of the original finish .The gun is in excellent working order and works in both single and double action mode. This gun is all brass vest pocket derringer with a 3 inch barrel that is marked on the left side : " KING PIN " .The brass has a nice yellow mustard color patina with no damage and has not been cleaned. The walnut grips are excellent with no cracks or damage and 75% of the original varnish finish. The bore is smooth with no damage and is mostly shiny . Manhattan Hero Derringer marked in 32 caliber , serial number 3619. This gun has a 2 1/4 inch steel barrel that has 70% of the original blue with no pitting or damage The frame is brass and is marked " HERO " on the left side. The brass has a nice yellow patina . The grips are 2 piece walnut with no cracks but a small piece missing near the grip screw .
