Very Early Sharps 4 barrel deringer in 22 caliber ,serial number 320 . This gun has the very early markings that are on the sides of the barrel at the bottom .The left side of the barrel reads : " C. SHARPS CO PHILADA PA " , the right side bottom of barrel reads :" C/SHARPS PATENT 1859 ". The barrel cluster is 2 1/2 inches long with 85% of thinning blue with some brown mixed in. The brass frame is very good with 70% of the silver finish with the balance being brass colored . The gun is in very good mechanical working order and locks up tight . C. Sharps large frame 4 shot pepperbox in 30 caliber rimfire , serial number 3684. This first type pepperbox has a 3 1/2 inch barrel cluster that has 75% of the blue that has mostly turned brown with a small rough spot on top the barrel about the size of the end of a finger and no other metal damage . The frame has case colored that has molted to a grey color . The gutta percha grips are plain with a small piece missing from the left one and a small chip at the butt of the same grip.
