AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO REVOLVER In 22 caliber serial number 22786. This gun has a 3 1/4 inch barrel that is marked with weak but readable markings: AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO NEWARK N.J. The barrel has 65% of the original blue that is turning a brown patina and has a couple small spots of very light pitting . The brass frame has a nice patina and is not damaged in any way. The wood grips are excellent with no cracks or other damage and 75% of the original wood finish. this gun has the rare hard to find 12 cylinder stops . This gun is in very good working order but is a little stiff and probably needs cleaning. American Standard revolver in 22 rim fire , serial number 10550 .These were manufactured by Manhattan Arms Company. This gun has a 3 1/4 inch octagon barrel with a rib and is marked on top AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO NEWARK N.J.". The barrel and cylinder have 75 % of the blue that has turned brown and grey . The brass frame a silver finish with 45% of that finish remaining with the remainder being brass colored . The 2 piece walnut grips shows a lot of wear with 50% of the finish reaming and are not cracked or show any serious damage . The gun works but needs some TLC as the cylinder does not turn some times . The bore has very good rifling and a mixture of shiny and grey. This gun has the following barrel markings : AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO NEWARK N.J.The cylinder has the rare hard to find 12 cylinder stops. The barrel and cylinder have a nickel finish that has 80% remaining on the barrel and 55% remaining on the cylinder with some peeling .The brass frame has 85% of the nickel finish remaining that is thinning with some brass starting to show through..The wood grips are excellent with no cracks or damage and 75% of the original finish with a few minor dings .
